My Favorite Fighters
As a aviation fans, I loved to be called "Stalking Eagle".😉
Because I liked to stalk famous students from my school😀😂😜. Well, tbh, I'm not stalkactive as before, because I have nobody to stalk right now.
That Eagle name, because I love F-15 Eagle. But it doesn't mean I hate another fighter, because some of the fighters in the world have some pretty shapes in my eyes.
Here's the list of the fighters that I like:
1. McDonnell Douglas/Boeing F-15 Eagle
Some sources said that this plane was build as a respond to Soviet's MiG-25 Foxbat, known for it's high speed.
One of the most remarkable incident that this plane experienced is, when she managed to land safely with only one wing😱😨. This is REAL!
It was the F-15D of Israeli Air Force who did it. When 2 Israeli fighters, the F-15D & the A-4 Skyhawk had an exercise, the F-15 accidently hit an A-4 Skyhawk. The Skyhawk crashed & the pilot ejected. The F-15D struggle to make it's return to the base. With one wing, the F-15D manage to land safely.😨😱👍👏
After the incident, the Israeli Air Force repaired it for being able to serve the duty again.
Why I love this plane?
Because for me, it's a well balanced plane & of course, really reliable. The shape really represent me😘😍 and it makes obsessed with aviation, until every fighter that has 2 vertical rudders as an F-15 thanks to it's timeless & legendary shape👍.
It is a new symbol of dogfight era. Stealth, supercruise, supermaneuverbility, advanced, frameless canopy for better visibility, RCS (Radar Cross Section), RAM (Radar Absorbent Material), all become 1, the F-22 Raptor. This American Beauty also can be maintained at common hangar, unlike the F-117 Nighthawk.
Personally, I always considered this beauty as a redefined F-15 with a futuristic, sexier & prettier shape😍😘👍. She made her maiden flight in 1997, introduced in 2005.😱. At first, I thought it was a brand new, but it's actually, it was exist before the Transformers movie😨.
The Raptor can carry 8 AAM in internal weapon pad to maintain aerodynamics & keep the stealthiness.
It combines high level of agility, good speed, advanced stealth technology & beautiful shape makes it a dream plane everyone wants to fly, including me😘😍.
Sometimes it reminds me to my memorable & pretty female school senior back when I was a 10th graders (The senior that I mean is Saints 39)😀😂😉😜.
I really enjoy my time flying this beauty in the video game & truly addicted since I've flown it for the 1st time😀✌️😂.
3. Lockheed Martin F-16 Fighting Falcon
You're not a military fans if you aren't know F-16.
This lightweight aircraft is the 1st in the world to use fly-by-wire system.
It offers high level of versatility in Air-to-Air & Air-to-Ground combat. It is considered as the world's most "combat proven" fighter in the world, because she have been deployed in many battles, such as Operation Desert Storm, Afghanistan, Balkans, etc. It's a lot actually that I can't describe it one by one.✌️😀. The 1st kill of this fighter is on December 27th, 1992, when a F-16D shooting down one of the fastest plane in the world, MiG-25 Foxbat, flown by the Iraqi, using the AIM-120 AMRAAM. That kill was noted in history as the F-16's first kill since it's introduced & also AMRAAM's first kill. Wow!😨
At first, I thought it was from the F-15, but actually, it's from the lightweight F-16😨😱.
This Falcon also scores an 74 air to air kills😨😱.
This uniqueness from this plane comes from the joystick that was placed on the right side, rather than in the center. (FYI, F-22 Raptor joystick is on the right side too)
The relative low maintenance cost, lightweight maneuver, frameless canopy that offers better visibility, high level of weapons payload flexibility makes it as a one of the best selling fighters of all time, lots of country using it.
Including, Indonesia 🇮🇩
The Indonesian bought an F-16 in the New Order (Orde Baru) era of Soeharto in an airshow with Mirage 2000, as the nearest rival. In the end, the Indonesian choose an F-16, thanks to it's high level of experience in battles.
Some sources said that our livery at that time was the coolest in the world.👍😱😀
Indonesian have 2 F-16 squadrons. The 3rd Air Squadron (Skadron Udara 3), headquartered at Maospati, East Java & The 16th Air Squadron (Skadron Udara 16) at Pekanbaru, Riau.
When the 1st time I heard F-16?
From my grandpa😀✌️. Who admired F-16 so much, thanks to it's engagements in many battles.
Tbh, when I flown it in the game, I have to admit, no wonder why so many countries buys this plane. It handles greatly in Air-to-Air & Air-to-Ground battles.👍
FYI: Japan also use F-16, but they have their own version with different avionics, bigger shape, higher weapons payload. The name is F-2.
My hope for this plane is that she'll be able to serve our beloved country any longer & the US offers us the most advanced F-16 ever, the F-16V Viper (Block 70) and the Indonesian signed the deal. It will be cool to see it fly in our sky alongside Sukhoi SU-35 in the future, we'll see.😉😀👍✌️🇮🇩
3. Boeing F/A-18E Super Hornet
For those who have watched "Behind Enemy Lines" movie, you must have know this.😉
But this time, it's single seater, rather than the twin seater like in the movie (the type in the movie was F/A-18F).
Same like F-16, it offers high level of versatility in both Air-to-Air & Air-to-Ground missions.
This plane was the redefined version of the F/A-18C Hornet, so does with the F/A-18D. In result, all of the USN (United States Navy) planes were replaced by the Super Hornet, because it has the same ability as the F-14 Tomcat thanks to it's advanced technology, large weapons payload, well-balanced maneuver & low RCS (Radar-Cross Section).
The variants are F/A-18F & EA-18G Growler (Jammer plane).
Some of the experts said that this plane is a 4,5th Generation, because the Super Hornet contains some of the 5th Generation fighters technology, with the 4th Generation format.
Why I like this plane?
For me, it's a symbol of the USN Aerial Guardian. The iconic shape, high level of versatility, balanced maneuver & advanced technology makes it still a reliable & feared fighter than the F-35.😀😉👍
4. SAAB JAS-39 Gripen
If you ask me my favorite European fighter, this is the answer, Gripen.
This fighter has a near-perfect shape in my eyes. Sometimes I considered this fighter as a futuristic multirole fighter. It maybe simple, but I think it's stunning.
This fighter offers an high level of interoperability that this plane can land on street & had a relative short time in repairing & resupply this plane to get it airbourne again.😀👍👏
What makes this plane special to me is, she has a very light maneuver & it's lighter than the F-16, thanks to the canards in front of the wings.👍
This cute fighter can carry Air-to-Air & Air-to-Ground Mission really well & was build for a reconnaissance mission as well.
This fighter also offers an low maintenance cost that is cheaper than the F-16. It can carry an Meteor (An BVR with a longer range than the AMRAAM) for Air-to-Air combat.
The Gripen has a tactical link that able to connect & share the data with fellow Gripen pilots.
Now, the SAAB has made the most advanced one, with the new code JAS-39E. With a more advanced avionics & more weapons payload.
When I knew this plane for the 1st time?
Back when I faced Indigo Team in the Ace Combat Zero game.😀😜✌️.
I bought it when I have enough credits, I flown it, & I have to admit that Gripen is better than Rafale.👍. Man, probably the most reliable European-build fighter ever with a cheap cost of maintenance👍.
5. Sukhoi SU-27 Flanker
The Russian may have to thank the designer of this plane, because this plane manage to live up Sukhoi's name & Russian Air Force as we all know now.
This Russian beauty was build as a response of the mighty F-15 in that time.
She made her maiden flight in 1977, introduced in 1985. Involved in Ethiopia-Eritrea war, the Ethiopians Flanker kill 2 MiG-29 Fulcrum. In all involvement, this Russian pride score an 6 air to air kills. Just a matter of time for this plane to be involved in combat again.😉
For me, it's a symbol of Russian aerial supremacy & the hardcode from them that they are not underestimate-able again like before.👍😉
Indonesian bought this fighter in 2003 during Megawati's presidency in response of the Bawean incident when F/A-18C of the USN enters Indonesian airspace.
This beauty is able to carry 10 AAM (4x R-73 heatseeking & 6x R-77 BVR missiles) for air-to-air mission. This fighter is well known for it's incredible Pugachev's Cobra.😨😱
It's named from the Soviet's test pilot, Viktor Pugachev when he performed it in the 1989 Paris Air Show.
This Russian beauty has many variants from SU-30, SU-33 (Carrier-based), SU-34, SU-35 & SU-37 (Technology demonstrator)
SU-35 Flanker E is the most advanced Flanker ever fly today, and our country have a big chance to own it as some local media state that we have made our deal with Russian to bought it as replacement of our aging F-5 Tiger.
It will be cool to see the SU-35 patrol our skies😉😀👍🇮🇩.
Indonesian admired this plane thanks to it's success in Pitch Black 2012 exercise against RAAF (Royal Australian Air Force) F/A-18C Hornet. I've heard from the local media & probably started to respect this plane from now on😀✌️. Most Indonesians become optimist & proud of our aerial military since that victory, so does with the Australian pilots that admired our pilots skill👍🇮🇩.
The Indonesian stationed the SU-27 & SU-30 at Hasanuddin Airfield, Makassar. Flown by the 11th Air Squadron (Skadron Udara 11).
When I saw the Flanker for the 1st time?
In Ace Combat Zero game😀✌️
Sometimes I considered it as a Russian version of F-15 with Russian touches inside😉🇷🇺.
I flown it in game, & I think it has the same ability as the F-15, with a lighter maneuver.
I also flown this plane in Heatseeker game & geez..... It's so agile😀👍😨.
The multirole & Air-to-Ground version from this Flanker are SU-30 & SU-34.
I'm hoping that our Flankers were well-equipped with advanced avionics & weapons by the Russians so it will be ready anytime👍😀.
6. Sukhoi SU-57
For me, it's about time for Russian to have their 1st stealth plane. And they supposed to😏
Firstly developed in 2010 with the name "Sukhoi T-50 PAK FA". As of now, she officially change it's name into SU-57.
This Russian beast is planned to be introduced to the public next year.
Same as it's nemesis, F-22 Raptor, the SU-57 had stealth, supercruise, supermaneuverbility, RCS, RAM, advanced avionics, all in one pack. SU-57 has a internal payload to keep the aerodynamics & the stealthiness. They supposed to.
For me, the shape is so futuristic that I can't imagine how it will be, when she faced the F-22 in the skies😨😉😏. It's a matter of time to see them battling each other in the skies. Overall, it reminds me to some of the coolest yet kind boy of my school.😀✌️

For me, F-15 is more than just a fighter, it's a symbol of the mighty USAF (United States Air Force). The shape is really American & it was build for Air-to-Air combat. She's able to carry 8 AAM missiles with various combination. You can have 6 AIM-120D AMRAAM BVR's (Beyond Visual Range) missiles & 2 AIM-9X Sidewinder missiles or 4 AMRAAM & 4 Sidewinders. AMRAAM stands for Advanced Medium Range Air to Air Missiles.
F-15 has a good balance of speed & maneuverbility make it's a reliable fighter in it's era. F-15 scores over 104 planes kill without losing any single unit. When I'm hearing this plane "never get shot down", I feel like "really?", until I found on the internet about the air kills. And YES!
It has 0 loses in both Air-to Air loses & Air-to-Ground loses. WOW!😨😱.

Up until now, F-15 still considered as a vital fighter in this 21st century, despite the arrival of the 5th generation fighter like F-22, J-20 or SU-57.
The F-15 variants are F-15C, F-15D, F-15E Strike Eagle (the multirole version) & the Stealthy F-15SE Silent Eagle.
Some western media said the Americans are planned to upgrade the F-15 with more weapons payload & extended life service. They called it "F-15 2040"

Why I love this plane?
